Dr. Dorothy Wang grew up in Redlands, California. She attended Harvard University where she majored in Chemistry and earned two Howard Hughes Undergraduate Research Fellowships. Upon graduating with honors, she then worked in a research laboratory at UC San Francisco before applying to medical school.
Dr. Wang attended Cornell University Medical College in New York City and became involved with research in the field of head and neck cancer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Institute. She did her residency at UCLA, completing two years of General Surgery and four years of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery training. Dr. Wang holds the position of UCLA Assistant Clinical Professor at the Wadsworth VA hospital, helping train UCLA residents and providing our veterans with top-quality medical care–she has been on UCLA faculty at the VA for 12 years. Dr. Wang is also a member of the American Rhinologic Society (ARS). Dr. Wang treats all general adult and pediatric ENT problems, ENT, and Head and Neck surgery, and is highly trained in the specialty of minimally-invasive facial plastics and cosmetic procedures. She currently has hospital privileges at St. Johns Hospital and Southern California Hospital. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and has been recognized by her peers as one of Los Angeles Magazine’s TOP DOCTORS for multiple years, including in 2019.
Dr. Wang and her family reside in Brentwood.
